In this episode you’ll listen to lesson 1 of the 9th grade English course of the Ron Paul Curriculum. This course is taught by Dr. Gary North and focuses on autobiographies of important people in history. Students write a weekly essay and learn to write their own autobiographies.
9th Grade English Course Overview
In this 36-week course, students complete daily reading assignments and watch a video commentary on Monday through Thursday. Friday’s video will review the previous four lessons. The student will be expected to write a short essay on Friday about the main topic of the week.
Autobiographies in the course: Jim Lehrer, Sergei Kourdakov, Booker T. Washington, Hellen Keller, Mark Twain, George Washington Plunkitt, Charles Darwin, Geronimo, John Thompson, Solomon Northup, Henry David Thoreau, Frederick Douglas, and Olaudah Equiano.
